Working together
We value open, honest communication because it simplifies relationships
Budgets and estimates
We invest time and effort crafting estimates and proposals, researching your business, market, and competitors at no cost to you. In return, we kindly ask for transparency regarding budget expectations to ensure alignment and tailored recommendations.
Our estimates are valid for 30 days from issue and include both time and expenses. They rely on the clarity of your project brief, so it’s essential your brief is precise and approved by all relevant parties.
If the project brief evolves significantly, we’ll pause and discuss adjustments to the original estimate. We avoid surprises — any changes are agreed upfront.
For projects requiring purchase orders, please provide the PO number before we begin to ensure smooth invoicing.
Payment
For new clients, substantial projects, or those involving third-party costs, we typically require a 50% deposit before starting work. This will be discussed and agreed upon before commissioning the project.
Our invoices are payable within 30 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. Bank or transaction fees are your responsibility, and VAT will be added at the applicable rate.
Free-pitching
We believe in the value of thoughtful, collaborative design — work that is built on a deep understanding of your business, audience, and goals. Free-pitching undermines this process, as it often demands speculative work based on limited engagement and incomplete briefs. Creating the kind of quality design we stand for requires time, research, and collaboration, which isn’t possible under these conditions.
As a rule, we don’t participate in free-pitching because it compromises the quality of the work we deliver and the relationships we strive to build with our clients. However, we understand that in some rare cases, free-pitching may be unavoidable. In such instances, we evaluate opportunities carefully and reserve the right to make exceptions at our discretion.
Confidentiality
Trust and discretion are key to our partnerships. We regularly sign NDAs, which override this clause.
We will not share information you provide unless legally required or instructed by you. If third-party sharing is necessary, we’ll seek your consent in writing. For further details, please see our privacy policy.
Quality of content
High-quality work depends on clear instructions, accurate content, and timely feedback from you. Any content you provide must be accurate and approved by your internal stakeholders.
While we can accommodate changes, excessive revisions due to unapproved content may affect timelines and budgets.
Ownership of design work
Our work remains our property until invoices are fully settled. Please don’t use, copy, or publish our designs until payment is complete.
Our fees cover final deliverables, not underlying working files. If you require editable files, this must be flagged at the outset and may impact costs.
Licenses and copyright
All assets we use (stock images, music, typefaces, etc.) are appropriately licensed. Details are available upon request.
We respect copyright laws and expect you to do the same. Any assets you provide must not infringe on copyright.
Promoting our work
Showcasing completed projects is vital for our business. If you prefer us not to feature your project, this must be agreed before we begin.
By default, we don’t promote projects intended for private or internal audiences. If we see an opportunity to share them without breaching confidentiality, we’ll seek your approval first.
Ending our relationship
Either of us may end the relationship with written notice. Any work completed up to that point and external fees incurred on your behalf will need to be paid in full.
If you require files from past projects after our relationship ends, there may be charges for recovery and transfer.
Limitation of liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or these terms.
